An eyewitness account revealed that all the passengers on board quickly alighted to avoid being injured.

The driver and the conductor of the bus did not have a fire extinguisher, so they went in search of water to douse the fire.

This news comes barely three days after an accident on the Techiman-Kintampo road which claimed over 60 lives on Friday, March 22, 2019.

On Friday, March 22, two buses collided with one of them catching fire. Several of the passengers in the bus were burnt beyond recognition with others in the other bus dying on the spot.

Many others with varying degrees of injury were rushed to nearby hospitals for medical attention.
