A former White House photographer has shared her favorite photos of former First Lady Michelle Obama.
Amanda Lucidon, 38, who was Obama's official photographer for four years, has published a new book titled "Chasing Light." It is a collection of 150 candid photos of the former first family.
She travelled with Obama to dozens of US cities and over 20 countries around the world. Her book is therefore filled with both public and private images of Obama.
In an interview, Lucidon said: "She taught me so many things, but if I had to identify things that I visit in my daily life, one thing was to be fearless because fear can stop us a lot of times to reaching new heights and possibilities."
She added that the former first lady taught her that challenges are actually a source of strength and that they teach people resilience.
Lucidon explained that she came up with the book's title because she saw Obama as a light who inspired others.
