Self-acclaimed King of Dancehall music in Ghana, Shatta Wale had a day to remember yesterday when family members, friends and well-wishers to celebrate with as he marked his 32nd birthday in grand style.
In a celebration video that was posted on Facebook, the “Ayoo” hit maker was seen in the company of Shatta Michy and his two children who were helping him cut the 4 birthday cakes that were on display.
The musician was flanked by his promoter from the United States of America and the Member of Parliament for the Kpone Katamanso constituency, Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey-Agbo. Fellow musician Sister Afia sang the birthday boy an awesome rendition of the birthday song.
The “Taking Over” hit maker was grateful for all the love and support that was shown to him on his birthday and sent messages of thanks to everyone who was present to celebrate with him.
In giving his birthday speech, Shatta Wale indicated that he was always happy to find himself in the company of up and coming artistes.
He also indicated that even though they were celebrating the birthday in peace, some people would still take it upon themselves to write different stuff concerning the celebration.
The dance hall artiste received many birthday messages from people from all walks of life. The most notable wishes came from purported arch rival Stonebwoy and the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
