Outgoing Director of the Ghana Police Service's Criminal Investigations Department (CID), COP Bright Oduro, has has given his vote of confidence concerning his successor's ability to perform on the job.

Former Director of the Ghana Police Service's CID, COP Bright Oduro, has vouched for the now acting CID Director, ACP Tiwaa Addo Danquah following questions from sections of the public concerning her ability to perform effectively in her new role.
Regarding ACP Tiwaa Addo Danquah, COP Bright Oduro referred to his successor as a supportive and hardworking police officer, and also possess the competence to replace him.

ACP TIwaa Addo Danquah's promotion to Director of CID has come unto some criticism by certain parts of the public in light of recent events concerning her involvement in the (much reported) CID investigation into allegations of corruption against two Presidential Deputy Chief of staffs.

Speaking to Chief Jerry Forson during an interview on Accra 100.5FM's Ghana Yenson show, COP Bright Oduro stated that he had a very good working relationship with ACP Tiwaa Addo Danquah, adding that he knew her since she joined the service.
“I strongly believe she can do the work, she is now acting, probably she will be confirmed, she can hold the fort.” He said.
