Nana Akufo-Addo’s government is the best since Ghana’s fourth republic, Dean of Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the Ashesi University College, Prof. Stephen Adei has said.
According to him, the Nana Addo-led administration has showed through its instated policies that it wants to transform the country.
President Akufo-Addo and his New Patriotic Party (NPP) government have been in power for just nine months, however, a number of projects have already been rolled out, with others underway.
Earlier in September, the much-publicized Free SHS policy was rolled out, with the latest being the National Digital Property and Addressing System – meant to improve business transactions – which was launched on Wednesday.
Prof. Adei believes President Akufo-Addo’s policies so far depict a government that wants to transform the nation, insisting it is “the best”.
Speaking on Joy FM, the Ashesi University Professor said: “I have no position about the negative performance of Akufo-Addo’s government.
“…since the fourth republic in the first year of their term, I think Akufo-Addo’s government has done the best [with] how they have started.”
He added that at this rate the Akufo-Addo led government would be able to achieve all its promises made during the 2016 elections.
