Hazard rescues Chelsea in a six-goal thriller against Italian side AS Roma

- Hazard ended his 952 days goal drought in the Champions League as he scored a brace in Chelsea 3-3 draw against Roma

- Roma could have recorded their first away win against Premier League team if they had secured all three points at Stamford Bridge

- Former Man City striker Eden Dzeko also got a brace in the game

Premier League giants Chelsea were to a draw by Seria A side A.S Roma in an entertaining UEFA Champions League tie at Stamford Bridge.

David Luiz got the opener for the host in the 11th minute when a loose ball arrived at his feet just outside the box. He utilized the opportunity, firing a brilliant shot inside the right post.

Hazard doubled the lead for the host in the 37th minute when a rebound came his way, scoring with a powerful strike, leaving the goalkeeper helpless.

Former Manchester City wing-back Aleksandar Kolarov showed a superb quick feet and dribbling in the 40th minute as he jinked his way through multiple challenges, taking a shot from inside the box, which was deflected, going past stranded Thibaut Courtois to deliver a slim equalizer hope for the visitors at 2-1

Former City attacker Eden Dzeko finally got the much awaited equalizer for the visitors in the 64th minute.

The Italian side took the lead in the 70th minute when Aleksandar Kolarov sent a cross in and Dzeko leaped high to connect with it on the edge of the 6-yard box. His close-range header went inside the right post making it 2-3.

The Blues were quick to respond in the 75th minute through an Eden Hazard close-range strike

In other match day three UEFA Champions League tie Atletico Madrid played a 0-0 draw with Qarabag.
