- Edison Cavani says he only has a professional relationship with PSG record siging Neymar
- The two players are reportedly not friends after clashing over who should take a penalty
- Cavani suggests the club has not made a decision on who would be first choice penalty taker
PSG attackers Edison Cavani and Neymar are still not friends if comments from the Uruguayan are anything to go by.
The two players fell out when they argued over who should take a penalty on the pitch against Lyon.
Neymar later apologized to the Uruguayan and publicly made up with Cavani on the pitch but they are still not friends according to Cavani.
But if fans thought the two were now friends they are set to be disappointed.
In an interview with French radio SFR Sport, Cavani said: "The penalty case, that’s in the past. These are things that happen in football.
“We must find the solution together and function as a team. We need to be a competitive team, but we do not need to be friends. You have to be professional, and afterwards everyone has their own life."
On whether he has been removed from penalty duty, the striker responded: “This is up to the coach to decide. What is best for the team?
“I think the person in charge will find the solution. When he makes the decision, it will be like that.
“Did he make his decision? I don’t think so.”
