A taxi driver who was conveying a lawyer to court has bolted with his (lawyer’s) possessions.

‘The lawyer, Yaw Dankwa, was on his way to hear the final judgment of the court when the incident occurred.
According to sources, the driver of the taxi in which he was travelling gradually brought the vehicles to a halt and asked the lawyer to ask for directions from passersby.
He then sped off with the taxi, alongside all the belonging of the lawyer.
Dankwa is reported to have lost items such as a laptop, phone, case dockets as well as other items.
However, the incident did not in any way deter the judge from giving judgement.
The two accused persons, Samuel Adjako and Benjamin Adu Asante aka Attah, were sentenced to 15 years imprisonment each with hard labour.
They were charged with conspiracy and robbery, in which they made away with various items totaling about GHc7,000.
They however pleaded not guilty.
