Stars of the Kumawood industry on Thursday joined in solidarity to extend their condolences to actress Nana Ama Mcbrown, who observed the one-week passing of her mother.
Madam Betty Obiri-Yeboah passed away at the age of 61 last week.
A number of Kumawood actors and actresses, clad in black and red thronged to the family home of Madam Obiri Yeboah to pay their respects to the grieving family.
Wayoosi, Emelia Brobbey, Vivian Jill Lawrence, Ellen and others were among the stars that were spotted at the family home in Kwadaso, in the Ashanti Region.
Nana Ama Mcbrown, born Felicia Ama Agyemang has always attributed her upbringing to Madam Obiri Yeboah who was actually her aunt.
When her parents separated during her early childhood years, Nana Ama and her six siblings were adopted by Madam Betty and her husband, Kofi Mcbrown.
The actress has been noted to refer to Madam Betty as her ‘true’ mother and has many times expressed her immense gratitude to her.
