Agona Swedru based One Corner hit-maker, Patapaa, has responded to criticism from various sections of the public who've made negative comments concerning the artist looks and background.

Unlike some artist beginnings, Mr. Justice Amoah, now better known to Ghanaians as Patapaa, has had to deal with continuous criticism since his One Corner hit song became viral in Ghana.

Some members of the public including celebrities and actors have referred to his hit song as demonic, while others have opted for a more personal attack on the Agona-Swedru based artist and called him ugly, and a a villager.

"Prophet Kumchacha, Sonnie Badu, KKD have all criticised the song and the dance that accompanies it but I will prove them wrong and soon Ghanaians will know that One Corner is one of my many hits,” he added.

Concerning comments regarding his looks and people calling him a villager. Patapaa stated that at this point in his career he needs support and encouragement, not the distraction he's getting from certain members of the public.

I’ve comments from people that I am ugly and a villager and sometimes it hurts me but I am moving on and will not allow them to affect me so much,” he said.
