Manchester City solidify top spot with massive win over Burnley

Sergio Aguero scored on his return from an injury suffered in a car crash to set Manchester City on to a 3 - 0 win over Burnley in a Premier League game.

The Argentine returned to action two months before he was scheduled to to score an early penalty as Pep Guardiola's side extended their lead at the top of the table to five points after Manchester United lost to Huddersfield.

Sergio Aguero scored on his return from an injury suffered in a car crash to set Manchester City on to a 3 - 0 win over Burnley in a Premier League game.

The goal, a penalty scored in the 30th minute was Kun's 177th for City to make him the top goal scorer alongside Eric Brooks.

Nicolas Otamendi and Leroy Sane scored with less than 20 minutes to go to add to Aguego's opener.

The Argentina scored a header from De Bruyne's corner in the 73rd minute while Sane scored two minutes later after he was slotted in by De Bruyne to make it three.

Pep Guardiola's side remain top of the league after nine games. They have 25 points five ahead of second place Manchester United.
