The Ridge Hospital in Accra has been taken on by a Ghanaian social media user following the Hospital's introduction of a separate reception for corporate workers.
A Facebook post by one Kwasi Gyamfi Asiedu showed a picture of one of the reception desks at the Ridge Hospital, with the caption "Corporate and Prestige Reception".
The Hospital has been subsequently accused of doing the bidding of the rich, while leaving the poor to stand in long queues just to get medical attention.
The "corporate and prestige reception" desk is meant for corporate organisations and workers, with such persons avoiding long queues when going for medical treatment.
The issue, though, has now caused an uproar on social media, with some persons describing it as "unconstitutional".
