Ugandan mother who lost both her hands in a deadly domestic violence finally gets brand new pair of hands and can afford to smile again.
Ninsiima’s hands were allegedly chopped off by her husband using a machete. She also lost her ear during the brutal attack. The Knowledge for Change charity came to her aid.
“The charity raised funds and tasked Salford University students to come up with new arms for Ninsiima. The project has been a huge success,” BBC reports.
Salford University students were able to create prosthetic arms for Ninsiima. She now hopes to reunited with her children and continue with her life.
Those privy to what happened to Ninsiima say it’s a miracle that she is still alive, especially because she was also expectant when her husband descended on her with a machete.
