It has been just over 24 hours since Braimah Kamoko, popularly referred to as Bukom Banku, encountered the first defeat in his professional career.
The tough talking boxer was knocked out in the seventh round by ferocious punch from opponent Samir Bastie.
The build-up to the bout had been dominated by the eye-catching war of words that had ensued between both boxers.
Bukom Banku started the move by describing Samir Bastie as a "coconut seller", with the North-based boxer also retaliating by labeling Banku a "comedian".
But when the die was cast, it was Bastie who came out tops, handing Bukom Banku a first ever defeat in his career.
Social media has since been buzzing with trolls as Bukom Banku immediately became the object of scrutiny following the loss.
Interestingly, though, it appears Bukom Banku is aware of what his profession entails and actually revealed that he would never allow his children become a boxer due to the dangers involved.
In a previous interview with Joy FM, Bukom Banku described boxing as a crazy profession which he entertained due to the monetary gains.
"Boxing is a very crazy, stupid and idiotic work, I haven’t insulted anybody” he said.
"My head is shaking all the time as a result of the punches I constantly take, it even affects the mind.”
