Last Thursday was a gloomy day for Kumawood actress, Nana Ama McBrown as she held the one-week funeral rites for her late mother.

At the ceremony in Kumasi which was well-attended by the Kumawood fraternity, Nana Ama who had been overtaken with grief, looked like somebody who had cried a lot on the day.

But as they say, time heals all wounds and the star actress seems to have recovered well from the mother's demise and is even stronger.

In her latest photo shared on her Instagram page, Nana Ama was all smiles as she thanked the Most High and all others for the support.

The deceased, 61-year-old Betty Obiri-Yeboah is actually Nana Ama's aunt b she adopted the actress and her six siblings when their parents separated in their childhood.

She and her husband, Kofi Mcbrown looked after Nana Ama and her siblings thereafter and the actress has always maintained that Madam Obiri Yeboah is her mother.
