Former lightweight champion, Brimah Kamoko, popularly known as Bukom Banku, says he is not fussed about losing Saturday's bout with Samir Bastie.
According to him, the loss has already happened and he doesn't care what people will say about him anymore.
Bukom Banku was handed a first defeat in his professional career after being knocked out in the seventh round of the bout.
His opponent, Samir Bastie, appeared more prepared for the fight with his jabs catching the Bukom-based boxer unawares on numerous occasions.
Banku has subsequently become the subject of trolls from Ghanaians on social media following the loss.
However, the tough-talking boxer says he had closed his ears to his critics, comparing his loss to that loss of former President John Mahama, who lost during Ghana's 2016 elections.
According to him, Bastie deserved to win the fight, but assured that he will return for a rematch.
"I accept that Bastie has beaten me, even President John Dramani Mahama lost a General Election. I’ve closed my ear drum so if you insult me, I don’t care," Banku said.
He has now lost just one on his previous 30 bouts.
