Akosua Agyapong, a veteran Ghanaian highlife musician, has been granted bail to a sum of GHS 160,000 with two sureties, with one to be justified.
She was charged with conspiracy to commit crime and fraudulent transaction of land.
The amount involved in the deal, which involved land matters, was estimated at GHc105,000.
Reports reaching YEN reveal that Akosua Agyapong was calmly seated, but kept shaking her head as the facts of the matter were read in court.
Per the facts of the matter presented by the prosecution, the musician connived with a man identified as Frank Agyemang to sell property, which wasn’t theirs.
Akosua Agyapong pleaded not guilty to all the charges, during the hearing on Tuesday 24th October 2017.She was consequently granted bail.
The case has been adjourned to 13th November, 2017.
