Italian court releases Ghanaian player who killed mother and sister

The Ghanaian footballer who was thrown into jail by a court in Italy for killing his mother and sister have been released.

According to latest news emanating from Italy the former Parma youth team player, Solomon Nyantakyi was released because the judge declared him mentally unstable.

The court is still yet to determine what or why Solomon killed his mother, Patience and sister, Magdalene.

He was arrested in Milan when he attempted to flee the crime scene in their home in Via San Leonardo, the outskirts of Parma.

Solomon was touted as one of the rising stars in Italian football as he flourished in the youth system of Parma winning several titles with them.

He was promoted to the Parma senior team by Roberto Donadoni before the club went on administration and the young player's career took a nose dive.
