Former world most expensive footballer Paul Pogba who has been sidelined for six weeks after picking up a hamstring injury against Basel in the Champions League is set to make his return.
Reports earlier this month claimed the former Juventus midfielder is closing in on full fitness.
And French newspaper L’Equipe claims that Pogba could make his return to action against Chelsea on November 5 before the international break.
However, they admit that United may make the decision to stop him from going on international duty with France to rest the midfielder, that would leave Pogba fit to face Newcastle on November 18.
United were back in action last night as Jose Mourinho’s men beat Swansea 2-0 in the Carabao Cup.
Speaking after the clash, the Red Devils boss said: “We were solid and professional, since the first minute.
“Great attitude, the match always in control and pleased with the result and the performance and the individual performances, we were solid, we were compact and we were in control.”
