Controversial comedian, Derek Kobina Boney, aka DKB has questioned feminists in Ghana, describing them as ‘useless’.
According to the comedian the relevance of feminists in Ghana is questionable. His criticism follows the silence of the feminists when she publicized a ‘sex list of prominent people she allegedly had sex with.
Speaking on Accra-based Neat FM, DKB said that is unfortunate that the aim of these feminists is only to make men look bad.
“I am getting to a point where I don’t know their use. I think they are becoming more reactive more than proactive,” the king of GH comedy said.
DKB further stated that he expected the feminists in Ghana to outrightly condemn the action of Nana Abena Korkor Addo.
“Abena Korkor did a serious man-shaming. She shamed men who slept with her by revealing their names and feminists are quiet because when a woman is doing something bad, they chose not to hear.
"But imagine if it had been a guy who is suffering from bipolar who gave a list of female celebrities he slept with?” he added.
Abena Korkor is a former student of the University of Cape Coast who stirred up series of controversies after her naked videos and images went viral on social media in February 2015.
