Music artiste, Akosua Agyapong, has denied reports that she was arrested by the police.
In an interview with Accra-based Joy FM, the singer, however, admitted that she had been granted bail by the court.
She explained that she pleaded not guilty to the charge of fraud.
Agyapong said she was granted bail in the sum of GHc3,000, and not GHc160,000 as had been reported in the media.
she added she was never tried for defrauding a businessman to the tune of GHc105,000.
The musician refused to comment on the substance of the matter, as it is still in court.
Per earlier reports, Akosua Agyapong was hauled before a court for allegedly conspiring with another person to defraud a businessman.
The two were reportedly charged with conspiracy to commit a crime, and fraudulent transactions.
The hearing continues on November 13, 2017.
