- Manchester United receive injury boost from injured players
- Marcus Rashford, Ander Herrera and Eric Bailly
- They are likely to feature in Saturday's game against Tottenham
Jose Mourinho Manchester United have received positive news on three players ahead of clash with Tottenham on Saturday, October 26.
Jose Mourinho was able to welcome back Marcus Rashford, Ander Herrera and Eric Bailly for training on Thursday, October 26.
Both Rashford and Herrera came off with knocks at Swansea in midweek while Bailly has missed United's last four matches, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Bailly returned from international duty with Ivory Coast injured and missed the trips to Liverpool, Benfica, Huddersfield and Swansea.
Jose Mourinho however last week expected Bailly to be available for the Spurs game.
He said: "If you ask if [Paul Pogba] can play next week against Tottenham then I don’t know," Mourinho said on Friday.
"I’m not telling you no, then he plays, and then you say I lied. I really don’t know.
"I expect Eric Bailly to be back next week. I cannot tell you about Fellaini or Pogba."
Bailly gave an encouraging injury update earlier this week when he tweeted: "Feeling good after today’s training session. Too bad I'm surrounded by these guys."
Bailly was accompanied by teammates Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David de Gea, who was rested for the Swansea match along with Antonio Valencia.
Ibrahimovic had earlier joked Bailly can't run away' from him after the former Villarreal defender uploaded a video in August of him slapping and kicking the Swede in the first-team dressing room at Carrington before scurrying away.
United's only absences during open training were midfield trio Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick, as well as long-term absentees Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo.
