Ghanaian high life maestro, Charles Kwadwo Fosu known in showbiz as Daddy Lumba is reported to be peeved with comments made by boxer Braimah Kamoko popularly known as Bukom Banku.
It was reported that the outspoken boxer in an interview on Accra-based Starr FM indicated that he drew inspiration from Daddy Lumba and the late King of Pop music, Michael Jackson to ‘tone’ his skin complexion.
The boxer who made this revelation had early on indicated that he was inspired by his wife who was also ‘bleaching’ to do same. He revealed that he did not mind what people had to say about his decision to bleach.
It is however believed that the management of the “Doctor Panee” hit maker had indicated that the musician did not take kindly to the comments made by the 37-year old boxer.
It came to light that Daddy Lumba was listening to the interview when the boxer made the comments and marred the mood of the “Ye nea woho beto wo” singer.
The revelation came to light when Bola Ray, the show host, received a message from Roman Fada who is believed to be the musician’s manager and registered his displeasure over the comments made by the boxer.
The musician is reported to have taken serious offence to the boxer’s comments and he made his ‘feelings’ known to the radio show host via text.
Bukom Banku, prior to his defeat to Bastie Samir on October 21 remained unbeaten and was proclaiming himself, “The African Mayweather”.
Bukom Banku is also reported to have taken a swipe at his arch rival, Ayittey Powers after the latter was seen in a video ‘mocking’ Bukom Banku after his loss to Bastie Samir.
