Popular TV personality, Ms. Deloris Frimpong Manso, has expressed shock at the president of the Musicians Union of Ghana's (MUSIGA) claim of spending Ghc 2 million on industry research.

According to Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, there two things that shocked her the most in the year 2017, the foremost being her grandmother's death, with the MUSIGA president, Mr. Bice Osei Kufour's - popularly known as Obour - Ghc2 million research expenditure claim coming a close second.
Ms. Frimpong's comment is in relation to Ghc 2 million allocated to MUSIGA by the erstwhile Mahama led National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration. According to the MUSIGA president, the funds were spent on conducting research into the local music industry.

“I saw MUSIGA’s president Obuor claiming he used Ghc 2m as research. I am not a musician but I had goosebumps immediately I heard the news," said delay.
Obour's expenditure claim caused a lot of raised eyebrows, with many wonder exactly what kind of research MUSIGA conducted, and - with the research conducted - what its findings were.

Further expressing her opinion on the issue, Delay reiterated her shock upon hearing of the issue.
"I was really surprised they used two million for the research. Then how much will they spend if they want to implement the findings?” She said.
