Sammy Awuku points out Prez Akuffo Addo's dissatifaction with security officials

- Sammy Awuku says security officials' inaction has cause the President lots of distress

- He says the president has appointed competent people to ensure the law is maintained in the country

Mr. Sammy Awuku , National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, has stated that President Akuffo Addo has felt disappointed by security officials due to their inability to deal with the issue of vigilante violence.

According to Sammy Awuku, who is also the Chairman of the Board for the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), state security agencies's inability to decisively deal with the issue of lawlessness has caused President Akuffo Addo a lot of discomfort.

Speaking on Joy News TV's Newsfile, Mr. Awuku stated that the in appointing individuals deemed competent to man certain security positions, President Nana Akuffo Addo did his part in maintaining security in the country.

The YEA Board Chairman emphasized that these individuals' performance on the job was especially important now when certain groups continue to cause unrest.

Sammy Awuku's comments come in the wake of two separate much reported incidents of unrest in Karaga, Northern Region, and Manya Krobo, Eastern Region, bothon Friday, October 27th.

It’s about time that we also have to bring onboard the military…It’s about time that the security capos stop breaking the heart of the president,” said Sammy Awuku.
