Don't wait to see leaked videos before admitting how serious abuse is- Afia Schwar makes powerful statement

Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, popularly known as TV host and Ghana’s 'queen' of comedy, Afia Schwarzenegger, has over the past weeks weathered storms and still emerged victorious.

Afia was hit with an alleged cheating scandal, that was fuelled by the leaked video which unfortunately put her nudity out online.

She stood against the public backlash that followed and is currently battling out the matter with estranged husband, Lawrence Abrokwah who is charged with leaking the video and threatening to harm her.

Since the incident, Afia Schwar has been on a mission to educate people, women especially, about abuse and toxic relationships.

In an Instagram post this week, the TV host wrote on abuse and leaving abusive spouses to save lives.

She wrote: “It takes a lot of courage for a woman to open up especially on abuse in her marriage...so whenever a friend /sister/daughter mounts courage to talk to u about abuse in her relationship.....LISTEN!!!

You don't have to wait to see scars or naked videos before admitting how serious the abuse is...Don't put your friendship with her spouse ahead of her safety...Abusive men are the ones that ACT love well, don't be fooled

In our family Divorce is not an option nonsense must end,others are forced to stay because of the children but remember the children are the 1st reason why u must leave because they want you their mum alive n sound ....a lot of women are dying in the name of love..BREAK THE CIRCLE. LEAVE TO LIVE.”

Afia and estranged husband, Lawrence Abrokwah are set to reappear again in court as the legal action against Abrokwah, and their divorce proceedings continue.
