R&B singer from Virginia, Chris Brown, is promoting his new documentary and his soon-to-be-released new album but isn’t comfortable answering questions about his relationship with the famous fellow singer, Rihanna.
He was asked a question about Rihanna and he shut down the interviewer quickly, according to reports published by Capital Xtra.
He’s known for his controversial relationship with fellow R&B singer Rihanna: they met in 2005 and started dating three years later.
One year into their relationship, they had a heated discussion in which Chris Brown punched her several times in the face.
Rihanna was seriously injured and was on the verge of dying – the incident made the news after a shocking photo of her bloody face was leaked to the media.
She has since recovered.
Brown was arrested on physical abuse charges.
The R&B singer opened up about his career, his private life, and his relationship with Rihanna in his recently-released documentary film ‘Chris Brown: Welcome to my Life.’
In the film, Brown admits he still has a thing for Rihanna even after the shocking incident.
When he was promoting the film and his upcoming album, he was asked a personal question about Rihanna and the incident that changed their lives.
Chris Brown was asked if he asked Rihanna permission to release the documentary since she appears briefly due to the shocking incident.
He shut down the interviewer by saying:
‘That's irrelevant at this point.’
