Father of suspect in ‘Justice4Her’ case dead

Father of the 18-year-old suspect who reportedly defiled a four-year-old child is reported dead.

Reports that the demise of the suspect’s father has been a big blow for his family.

The suspect, only identified as Kwabena, reportedly defiled a four-year-old girl in the early parts of October, but has since been on the run as the Police look to chase him down.

The family of the victim has been relocated from the village.

The defiled child is currently in a critical condition at the hospital, as doctors hope to help her recover.

Initial reports from the victim’s medical examination, though, suggest that there is no evidence of bleeding.

However, Kwabena is still a wanted man after the Inspector General of Police (IGP) instructed his men to go after him.

Intriguingly, the Chief of the community initially declared the suspect innocent after he claimed to have consulted the “gods.

Investigations are still ongoing regarding the case, as the Police hope to apprehend the suspect.

Meanwhile, police on Monday said they have arrested the young man who allegedly defiled a four-year-old girl at Assin Adadientem in the Central Region.

The Director of Police Public Affairs, DSP Sheila Kesse Abayie Buckman said: “the suspect is currently in police custody and police have also received the medical report on the examination of the victim. Investigation is still ongoing.”
