CAF shortlists two Ghana player for 2017 Africa Best

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named two Black Stars players in its 30-man shortlist for the 2017 African Footballer of the Year award.

Midfielders Thomas Partey and Christian Atsu got on the list after fine seasons with Atletico Madrid and Newcastle United.

CAF shortlists two Ghana player for 2017 Africa Best

They will compete with the likes of Liverpool and Egypt’s Mohamed Salah, Senegal’s Sadio Mane and and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Gabon and Borussia Dortmund for a place in the final three short list to mount the podium for the award.
