Musician Cee of TV3 Mentor fame resurfaces with new name and promises greater impact

The music scene in Ghana saw an influx of a new crop of musicians with songs from different genres in Ghana with the introduction of talent and music shows which were gaining root.

Musician Cee of TV3 Mentor fame resurfaces with new name

Famous among the music shows to grace our television screens was TV 3’s Mentor. The program which was a talent hunt for people with great singing capabilities was arguably one of its kind in the country.

Many contestants instantly shot to fame after the competition and made a name for themelves in the music industry.

Among such talented musician was Cee known in real life as Cynthia Appiah-Kubi who teamed up with fellow Mentor contestant Isaac and experienced musician, Great Ampong and the trio created some songs together.

She was noted for her silky voice and stage prowess.

Not long after they had obtained stardom, they went their separate ways. Now, returning to the music scene one more time is Cee.

The musician was spotted in a video posted on social media announcing her return to music. She however indicated that she was not returning by the name she was known by. She revealed that her new stage name was going to be “Adepa Cee”.

The musician went on to reveal that she was soon going to drop her new song to mark her return into the music fraternity.
