- Manchester United travel to London on Sunday, November 5, to face Premier League Champions Chelsea
- Mourinho faces injury crisis ahead of the big game with Pogba, Fellaini and Carrick already out, Jesse Lingard also joined the list
- Lingard sustained the knock in United 2-0 victory over Benfica on Tuesday October 31
Jose Mourinho takes his Manchester United team to London on Sunday, November 5, to face stuttering Premier Champions Chelsea
But the big worry for him will be the shortage of option United have in midfield. The Red Devils are already without some of their important players in middle.
Paul Pogba pulled his hamstring last month and has been out of action since then. Fellaini got injured in October on international duty, while skipper Micheal Carrick has not featured at all this season due to sickness.
Jesse Lingard has always proven to be a useful squad player and have provided an option for Portuguese manager in midfield in recent matches, but he is also now doubtful for the trip to Chelsea.
Mourinho who is Chelsea's most successful manager but has been sacked twice by the Blues will look to avenge the disgraceful 4-0 defeat he suffered at the hands of the Premier League Champion last season at the Bridge.
This looks like the right time to play Chelsea as the Blues are struggling defensively failing to keep clean-sheets in most of their matches this season.
Mourinho will hope to take some lessons in the way Italian side A.S Roma demolished the English champions in Rome on Tuesday, October 31.
Man United are currently in second position in the Premier League and they trail leaders City by five points.
