Dancehall artiste Samini is hopeful of also being invited to the Flagstaff house following the visit of Shatta Wale on Tuesday.
The “My own” hit maker was impressed with President Akufo-Addo’s decision to invite fellow artiste Shatta Wale to the seat of government and also wants his own chance.
Samini took to Twitter to insist that the move is a great one since it will help bridge the gap between entertainment and government.
He wrote: “@NAkufoAddo thanks for bridging the gap between entertainment and government. Now that doors are open, December22 is #myown oo akye."
His appeal comes after fellow dancehall rival Stonebwoy also called on the president to invite him to the official seat of government after seeing Shatta Wale invited.
However, it remains to be seen if President Akufo-Addo will grant them their wishes, but it appears Shatta Wale has indeed opened the door.
Over to you Nana Addo!
