Premier League giants Arsenal have advanced to the next round of the 2017/18 Europa League competition despite their goalless draw against visiting Red Star Belgrade.
The encounter was played at the Emirates stadium on Thursday night, November 2, and Arsenal would have themselves to blame not to have won the tie as they missed many scoring chances.
Arsenal started the match impressive with the likes of Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott combining well to torment Belgrade defense.
But Red Star Belgrade goalkeeper Milan Borjan was at his best as he saved his team from conceding against the Gunners in the first half.
Milan Borjan was also superb in the second half as Arsenal failed to break his defense despite their flurry of attack.
But Arsenal have qualified for the Europa League round of 32 despite their draw against Belgrade as the Gunners currently sit top of Group H with 10 points.
In other match, Everton have been knocked out of the Europa League championship after suffering an embarrassing 3-0 defeat against Lyon.
