TV host and Ghana’s ‘queen’ of comedy, Afia Schwarzenegger, has unveiled the logo of her anti-domestic abuse foundation, Leave to Live.
Afia Schwarzenegger started with a simple hashtag on her social media pages, #LeavetoLive, following the scandal that rocked her marriage some weeks ago.
Afia accused her estranged husband, Lawrence Abrokwah of assault and threat of harm, following the release of a video online whereby Abrokwah barged in on Afia and a lover in her home.
In the video, Abrokwah had threatened to harm with an unknown chemical substance, which the police later declared to be just water.
With the couple currently battling out their marital situation and other legal matters in court, Afia is using her influence to speak against domestic violence wherever she can.
She uploaded a photo of the campaign's logo via Instagram and this week, and started her campaign with a special interactive session with the contestants of Miss Nigeria Ghana ‘17 last Saturday.
Afia is not the only celebrity who is on the trail to fight against abuse in relationships, as actress Vicky Zugah a few months ago, revealed that she been in an abusive relationship for years and is now ready to fight to end the menace.
