Ghana's immediate former president, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, has expressed that he bears no ill will to fellow National Democratic Congress (NDC) members who choose to run for the party's flag-bearer position.
Speaking at the main opposition party's Unity Walk, which occurred Cape Cost, in the Central Region, former president president put to rest rumors of animosity between NDC flag-bearer candidates and said that whoever will be elect by the party will need everyone's support to attain victory in the 2020 general elections.

The former head of state mentioned several examples of him having good relationships with former colleagues and superiors who later interacted with him in different roles, adding that he wouldn't have problems with any of them now that some want to contest the party's flag-bearer position.

"Spio was my Boss and later became my minister, Joshua was my colleague in parliament and later became the Vice Chancellor of UPSA, Slyvester was the NHIS Boss and later a Presidential Staffer... Is not now that they want to contest that I will have a problem with them. Atubiga is even my favorite Presidential candidate," said Ghana's former president.
Former president John Dramani Mahama's comments come in the wake of fellow high ranking NDC member, Spio Garbrah's decision to openly announce his intent to carry the party's torch at the 2020 general elections.
