Mr. Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, has adamantly urged President Nana Akuffo Addo to relieve Ghana's Ambassador to South Africa of his diplomatic responsibilities despite a written apology signed by the diplomat.

Speaking on Accra based Joy FM's Newsfile over the weekend, the celebrated Ghanaian journalist related that had he been an adviser to the president and had his way, Mr. George Ayisi-Boateng, Ghana'd High Commissioner to the Republic of South Africa, would be asked to resign, adding that that would be a better outcome.
According to Mr. Kweku Baako, though everyone errs occasionally and thus have once apologized for their mistakes, he said that the High Commissioner to South Africa was speaking at a public forum, and that situation was a little more different.

“None of us is perfect...We have apologized, we have retracted and we’ve asked for forgiveness and we expect that people will do so."
"But High Commissioner to South Africa...he was speaking in a public forum...so I find it so difficult that he spoke [that] language and the content of it.” Said Kweku baako.
According to Mr. Kweku Baako, George Ayisi-Boateng must be removed from office in order to - if anything - save the reputation of Ghana's diplomatic missions abroad.
