The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) completed its unity walk in Cape Coast with a resolve to remain united ahead of the much-anticipated elections come the 2020 elections.
The unity walk saw some presidential hopefuls of the party join former president Mahama walk through the principal streets of the region amidst a cheering crowd numbering in their thousands.
John Dramani Mahama made various crucial statements during the walk as he chided the NPP administration for various developments in government including the partisan comments of the high commissioner to South Africa.
The walk, themed, “Mobilization of the Grassroots”, was aimed at "healing the party" after the shocking defeat in the 2016 elections.
It was the third to be undertaken by the party after previous ones in Tamale and Accra.
