According to him, their troubles in life were fueled by their underwear and burning them would cleanse the congregation.

On Sunday, November 5, members of the Tema branch of Obinim’s church, brought forth their underwear for ‘Angel’ Obinim as he is popularly called, to deliver them.

In a report by Adomonline.com, the members of the congregation; men, women and even some children placed their wrapped undergarments, some in black polythene bags at the podium where Obinim preaches.

In the video by Adomonline, Obinim then knelt down to pray over the items presented and after the session asked his ushers to collect the wrapped bundles and load them into a truck.

These were then sent to an open space and set ablaze, with some congregation members running around the fire chanting.

Members of the International Godsway Church had earlier been warned by an evangelist not to partake in Obinim’s orders, as he was trying to make an offering to the occult god he served.

Evangelist Isaac Kojo Antwi had warned that Obinim was not going to deliver his congregation by burning their underwear but it was to make his end of year sacrifice to the occult kingdom to gain more powers.
