- In a recent interview, she shared a couple of things about her daughter’s twins
Tina Knowles Lawson, the mother of Beyoncé and grandmother of her twins, was recently interviewed for Entertainment Tonight and she took the occasion to give us a couple of details about her youngest grandchildren.
The information given by Tina Knowles in the interview was shared in an article published by Pop Sugar earlier this month.
Célestine Ann Beyoncé, better known as Tina Knowles, is a 63-year-old fashion designer and businesswoman from Texas.
Tina is the mother of two talented singers you probably heard about before: Solange Knowles and Beyoncé Knowles.
She used to be married to Matthew Knowles until their divorce in 2011.
Her ex-husband – who is a 65-year-old manager and businessman from Alabama – is the father of Solange and Beyoncé.
Earlier this year, Beyoncé and Jay-Z – one of the most famous and powerful couples in music – gave birth to twins Sir and Rumi.
They have been very secretive about their births and haven’t shared a lot of details about them.
Sir and Rumi’s grandmother, Tina, is really proud of the twins and doesn’t mind sharing with the world a detail or two about them.
In the interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said the twins are different even when they look like each other.
They have different personalities and she really enjoys spending time with them.
According to Tina, they’re super fun
The twins’ older sister, Blue, loves her new siblings and is sharing some of the attention with them.
Tina said she’s being a good sister and added;
‘Just seeing her grow up, it's bringing some maturity.’
