- It looks like Serena Williams is gearing up for her dream big wedding as she sells her L.A. mansion at a sumptuous price
- Recent reports from MIAMI's publication revealed that the reason for the selling is to fund her upcoming rumored fairytale wedding
It might be that tennis champion Serena Williams wanted to settle down in Florida with her 6,000-square-foot home in Palm Beach Gardens and a 2.4-acre plot in Jupiter.
The 36-year-old tennis champion is reportedly giving up her 6,100 square feet space in the posh neighborhood of Bel Air in Los Angeles.
Serena bought the manor in 2006 for roughly $6.612 million and is now putting it up for sale for almost double its original price, compensating for the several upgrades she made over the years.
The multi-acred Stone Canyon mansion, which dates back to 1935, is up for grabs for a staggering amount of $11.995 million, nearly doubling her investment if she finds a willing buyer.
The upscale mansion, painted in baby blue color, has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and three car garages, with 6,101 square feet of space that can serve as a spacious venue for different events.
The double-door entrance to the house leads to a white marble hall with French doors throughout the home opening to the gardens and posh rooms decorated with complete furniture and appliances.
Williams had one of the bedrooms on the main floor converted to a work-out room with her kitchen having marble countertops and cherry cabinets and cupboards attached to a well-lit dining hall with windows on three sides.
The estate spans more grounds with its open lawns and hiking trails for outdoor activities, and a swimming pool explicitly placed next to an outdoor fireplace and resting area.
News had been going around that she's selling the property to fund her rumored big day with Reddit's co-founder, Alexis Ohanian.
The couple got engaged in 2015 and welcomed their first child, Alexis Olmpia Ohania, Jr. in September.
If her real state venture goes successful, then we can expect a well-funded wedding no less for one of this year's buzz-worthy couples.
