It has emerged that brother of ex-president Mahama ''stashed millions of dollars in an offshore tax-free account - revelations by Paradise Papers claims.
The investigative report narrates how Ibrahim Mahama through a secret offshore account invested over 7 million dollars.
Joy FM has therefore revealed that Ibrahim Mahama has been ranked as a high-risk businessman considering the fact that he was a brother to the ex-president John Dramani Mahama.
So far, Ibrahim Mahama has kept his silence over this issue but representative of the businessman has justified that no wrong was committed to securing such an account
However other Ghanaians including sons of former Ghana president JA Kufuor and former UN Secretary-General were mentioned in a similar Panama leaks.
Ibrahim Mahama's company operates in Liberia but the document revealed he had plans to expand into the Democratic Republic of Congo and Republic of Guinea, countries Appleby considered “high-risk jurisdictions.”
