West Ham appoint former Manchester United manager as new coach

- David Moyes has been appointed new manager of West Ham United

- The club has officially announced his appointment via their Twitter handle

- Moyes replaces Slaven Bilic who was recently shown the exit doors

Premier League campaigners West Ham United have confirmed the appointment of former Manchester United coach David Moyes as the new manager of the club.

The 54-year-old Scottish professional coach has however been charged with the task of saving the club from relegation at the end of the ongoing Premier League season.

Moyes has agreed a two-and-a-half year contract at the London Stadium, and will take training for the first time today, November 7, 2017.

The deal is understood to include a £2 million bonus for steering the club to safety in the Premier League this season.
