Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan might be widely known for his footballing skills, however, it appears the striker does not just train with his feet, but also with his hands.
In a latest video making rounds on social media, the 31-year-old is captured in a gym showing off his hidden boxing skills.
The Kayserispor striker, readily fisted, engages in some sparring moves with boxer Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe, as some persons present at the gym watch in awe.
Gyan has never hidden his passion for boxing, and although is does not actively box, the striker has in recent years been involved in the promotion of the sport in the country.
The former Sunderland and Al Ain attacker is the man behind the Baby Jet Promotions, and also serves as the manager of boxer Emmanuel Game Boy Tagoe.
The Black Stars skipper has also been involved in the staging of numerous bouts in the country, as a way of promoting boxing.
Gyan has returned to Ghana from his base in Turkey and is part of Ghana’s squad to face Egypt in the ultimate qualifier for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The striker is also Ghana’s all-time top scorer with 51 goals.
