- Jose Mourinho is said to be considering selling David De Gea to Real Madrid
- The goalkeeper has been a long term target for the Spanish champions
- But Mourinho will only allow him to leave next summer in exchange for Varane and cash
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering selling first choice goalkeeper David De Gea to Spanish champions Real Madrid next summer.
The news will definitely come as a green light for Real Madrid considering the facts that Los Blancos have been chasing the goalkeeper for years.
De Gea is a long-term transfer target for Real and remains top of president Florentino Perez's wish-list should the European champions decide to replace Keylor Navas.
But according to Don Balon, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will reportedly demand for Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane in part exchange.
Varane's campaign this season for Real Madrid has been interrupted by minor injury issues which have restricted him to just six appearances in La Liga so far.
David De Gea on the other hand has been in fine form this season for Manchester United earning eight Premier League clean sheets which is three more than any other keeper after the first 11 rounds of games.
