- It shouldn't be a surprise, but we are still surprised that Michelle Obama and Prince Harry reunited once again for a heart-warming project
- The former FLOTUS, who was in Chicago for the inauguration of the Obama Foundation Summit, was joined by the royalty
Prince Harry is back in the U.S. for the inauguration of Obama Foundation Summit in Chicago earlier today, but before the main event, he met up with the former first lady to visit some high school students.
According to PEOPLE via Harpers Bazaar latest report, the two visited Hyde Park Academy which was located in front of the Obama Presidential Center.
Right after surprising a group of about twenty students in the academy, the prince went into a deep conversation with his old friend and talked about a variety of things, mainly the chief goals of the Obama Presidential Center.
Obama's communications director informed the publication that the two were engaged in an hour-long conversation.
After the heart-warming event, Michelle shared to her followers on Instagram a photo of herself having a good laugh alongside Prince Harry, and gave him a shoutout in the caption saying:
'Thanks to my friend Prince Harry for joining me today to surprise these remarkable students at Hyde Park Academy on the South Side. We were blown away by their passion, ambition, and talent! #ReachHigher #ObamaSummit.'
A few moments later, Kensington Palace's official Instagram page also uploaded a similar photo of the two smiling from ear to ear.
Many were probably surprised by Michelle and Prince Harry's partnership, but this isn't the first time the two worked on something together.
In 2016, Obama co-hosted the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games in Florida, and the year before, the two also led an Invictus Games event in Virgina, alongside then-second lady, Dr. Jill Biden.
And in 2013, they honored military families at the White House.
