Tic Tac who was a brand ambassador for Melcom in 2009 said getting a good manager to promote his brand and music was his greatest setback.

Undoubtedly, many people would tip him as one of the few Ghanaian musicians who have reached the peak of their music career and are still relevant to the industry; hence this revelation may come as a shock to many.

However, Tic Tac said he had to push through all by himself to get to where he is now without any manager helping him.

“Every artiste needs a good manager to help him reach far; to help him get to the international music stage, helping to get more shows and all that but I didn’t get that and so I had to do all that by myself,” he revealed.

Commenting on how he was affected by the lack of a good manager, Tic Tac said: “So yes it has been a challenge but I don’t want to dwell on it that much. I just want to sit back and relax as and when it [the thought] comes to mind, as I take my time to put up everything together.”

He further advised up and coming artistes to work hard on their own and not to wait on others before they excel in the music industry.
