Hiplife musician Tic Tac has registered his displeasure with President Akufo-Addo’s decision to invite dancehall artiste Shatta Wale to the Flagstaff House.
The President extended an invitation to the self-acclaimed “dancehall king” during the latter’s birthday.
However, Tic Tac believes Shatta Wale does not merit such a treatment, having displayed high level of disrespect towards his colleague musicians.
He referred to a previous interview which he claims Shatta Wale described Ex Doe as “useless”, adding that such a person does not deserve to be given a key by the president.
In an interview with Happy FM, Tic Tac said: “An artiste could sit on air and tell a fellow artiste that he is useless, just because he tried to advise him."
And then that same artiste goes to the highest office of his nation and he’s given a key.
“That is the level of disrespect I’m talking about. We need to draw lines between certain things we do,” Tic Tac opined.
It is unknown if Shatta Wale and Tic Tac have a beef, but on the basis of these comments, there must be some smoke underneath it.
