According to the report by Ghanaian celebrity blogger, Ameyaw Debrah, Peter Mensah's father, Mr. Osei Mensah, died in the City of Kumasi on Tuesday, November 7th, 2017. The report failed to elaborate on what caused Mr. Osei's death.

Peter Mensah has had a very successful acting career, with his most notable big screen appearances being in the Movies "300" and "Tears of the Sun". He's also starred in televisions series, the most popular one being his participation in Spartacus.

Peter Mensah's father is reportedly well known in the Metropolis of Kumasi, being that he's the owner of Mount Olivet School at Odeneho Kwadaso.
