-NDC MP for Tamale Central has admitted sending thugs to retrieve some vehicles the party used 2016 campaign from party executives in the Northern Region
-This, according to him, was because the people concerned including the party's Regional Youth Organiser were refusing to return the cars as they agreed before being receiving them
-The MP made the admission while responding to accusations that he had been seizing party vehicles for himself
Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale Central, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini has expressed his displeasure at the refusal of some National Democratic Congress (NDC) executives to return cars given to them for the 2016 electioneering campaign.
Alhaji Fuseini, a former Minister of Roads and Highways, has been accused of hiring thugs to seize party vehicles from some officials of the NDC in the Northern region which led to a clash with the party's regional Youth Organiser, Alhaji Mohammed Aminu.
But speaking in a radio interview, the Tamale Central MP denied the allegation claiming the cars in question were not party cars but ones secured for members of the regional campaign team with the understanding that they would be returned after the elections.
According to him, this was to address some constraints faced by the party around the time of the 2016 elections but after the polls, persons including the Alhaji Aminu deliberately refused to return their vehicles.
“I feel pained talking about this matter. I feel very very pained talking about this matter. I wish I could let this matter rest. The party prior to the 2016 elections formed a campaign coordinating team in all the regions. I was part of the campaign coordinating team; we met the first time and we all talked about logistics then the youth organizer, women’s organizer and some other people said they did not have vehicles…… well I said I will organize some vehicles for them. I spoke to one or two friends and the donated two pickups on the understanding that the vehicles will be returned after the elections”, he stated on Tamale-based Diamond FM.
After a number of failed attempts to retrieve the vehicle, he confronted the regional Campaign Coordinator; Alhaji Mohammed Muniru-Limuna who asked him to use any available means to retrieve the vehicle since he was being harassed by the owners.

He therefore had no option but go seize the vehicles since the vehicles were in possession of party executives who also refused to return them as agree.
