- Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti could be on his way to Manchester United
- Jose Mourinho is reported to have told the club to buy the 23-year-old Frenchman
- Umtiti's contract at Barcelona will expire in 2021 and United are ready to sign him
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in the signing of Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti and has told the club to go for him.
Despite spending £300 million in less than 18 months, Mourinho has made a center-half top of his priority list.
The former Chelsea boss splashed out £30m on Victor Lindelof from Benfica, but the 23-year-old has played just 68 minutes of Premier League football since his summer arrival.
Samuel Umtiti's contract at Barcelona will expire in the year 2021, but has a £53 million release clause in which Mourinho wants Manchester United to pay according to the Sun.
